County Fair

A lady I know from church called last night saying she had free tickets to the county fair she was not going to use. We picked them up and went today. We had a lot of fun walking around and of course I couldn't leave my camera at home, so here are my pictures. (Warning: There are a lot of them!)

My Mom's dad had a Farmall.

This bird just cracked me up. I have never seen anything look so stupid.

 
We liked the animals and farm equipment the best. We didn't go on any rides. I wanted to go on the Ferris wheel, but it was $5 PER PERSON! So we skipped it. I did get a corn dog, and J got some nachos, and we ate them while watching the Dock Dogs. (A compitition to see who's dog can jump the farthest and landing in a pool.) We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. As a kid/teen our family did the fair every year, but this was the first time J and I have gone together. It was neat to go with someone who has all the same interests. It made for a great date.
