Trout Lake Camping Weekend #2

I have been remiss in blogging, and it is too bad because I have good stuff to post. I will try to catch up over the next few days.
On the drive into the little town of Trout Lake WA

To start I guess I need to go back to our second camping trip with Mom and Dad. We met back up with them at Trout Lake WA for a second weekend. The weather was not very good most of the time, but we had fun anyway.
Mom got a picture of Louie exploring camp at Elk Meadows RV park. the day before we got there
One rainy evening we all sat in the trailer and played Apples to Apples (even Dad) and all had a good time. Monday J, Dad and I drove up to Council Lake and fished. I only caught 1, but J came home with 3 rainbows and an eastern brook.
J with our catch from the day at Council Lake WA, mine is the one on the left (his right hand).

Near our camp. It is really a beautiful area.

Dad cookin' up dinner at camp.
Tuesday the three of us went back to Mosquito lake. It rained most of the time, but the fishing was still good. We had more getting off the hook that day, but still came home with a few.

We came home a bit cold, but Mom had a wonderful and hot elk shepard's pie waiting for us back at camp.
Elk Meadows RV park. The nicest campground I have ever seen.

View of Mt Adams from our camp. The clouds broke just as we were leaving Tues night.

I love those pictures; especially the one of Uncle Larry cooking and Louie on the fence (how old is that cat, anyway!) Cracks me up that you take him camping - I would too if we had a camper!
