Mid December my sister-in-law R and I decided it was a good time to do a spur of the moment trip to see family. R just off her mission, and soon to head back to university, had a few days, I had the free tickets, and A&J&co had the time for us to stay with them. It worked out well and we had a great visit. We had fun with the kids, went on a walk, and played games. One evening we visited the Oakland LDS temple, and had a very yummy dinner and ice cream at Fenton's Creamery and Restaurant.
