We were fortunate this year that Christmas and New Year's Eve fell on J's days off, and that we were able to spend both with family. R&Juls&B where here and it was great to get to spend time with them. We figured out that '07 was the last time we were all together for Christmas.
We played games, ate homemade gingerbread cookies, did puzzles, went horseback ridding...

| One morning when I got up the horses were playing together. |
...ate, watched movies, ate homemade peppermint ice cream, and played a lot of "hello, goodbye" (open and closing doors) with B-man.

| B opening and closing the door. He loves it when you knock and he can answer. |

| Mom got an awesome pop-up kids play tent and had lost of toys for B. Here his dinosaur was making a run for it. | |

As I said, we ate a lot. Mom kept us well fed with the most yummy meals and treats.
R, J, and I took our cameras for a walk around the lake. There is an unusually minimal amount of snow this year, allowing for us to both ride and walk places I have never been able to go during this time of year.

| We followed a bobcat trail. Here you can see where it walked out on the ice on the lake. |
We came across some larger wildlife playing in the snow that was just so cute I had to take pictures of it too.
