Camping with Mom and Dad -September

Each September we have been lucky enough to be able to meet up with Mom and Dad during their vacation time and do a bit of camping. This year we returned to our favorite spot from last year, Elk Meadows RV park in Trout Lake WA. Our first evening there we had great weather, and the evening sky was amazing, the light was perfect for taking pictures.

 Our first evening we have a campfire and sat out and watched an impressive lightning storm. We even saw some ground strikes, and some fires start. This is what the mountain looked like when we got up the next morning. The rest of our time there we had to plan our days around fire closures and smoke.

 We headed north away for the fire, and saw some beautiful waterfalls.
