September 15-18, 2012

The following week we spent the 15-19th again camping with Mom and Dad in the same Trout Lake/Mt. Adams area. As you will see from all the pictures (I took 172 pictures in those 5 days!) the area is one of the most beautiful I have been to.

I saw this car in trout lake. I wish I had a trunk full of sunflowers!

If you look close you can see there is a caterpillar on the C of my CAT shirt.

Leta and Kyle were able to meet up with us for a couple days.

Back at camp.... Mom and I worked on a puzzle while Dad started a fire. I was giving him a hard time that he had to hold his mouth just right to get the kindling the right size. Between that and the fact that I was taking pictures of him while teasing him may have warranted the look he was giving me here.

The 18th we went Goose Lake and did some fishing. I caught the large one in my right hand while standing on a rock. I put it on a string then tied it to my shoelace so the fish could stay in the water. It worked well enough but I couldn't move much. That wasn't a problem until I snagged my hook and had to radio J and Dad to come help me. Just as I radioed them they were catching enormous fish. One was so large it didn't fit in the net and got away.... or so I was told.

Neat pictures! I wish I had a trunkful of flowers too! Wonder what they were doing with them?
