Herbs

I wasn't able to find the cool cast iron hooks I wanted, but here's my latest project.

Lavender                Peppermint                Cat Nip                Oregano

I used the chalkboard paint again for the name plates.

I bought the spice jars and little mortar and pestle at World Market

Looks cute! By the way, when I was there when you had all those gingerbread marshmallows around, did you have something that wasn't mint hanging on a hook labeled mint? I remember being utterly confused. But at least they're correct for now!

This was fun to make, and I think I like it so much because it is useful. I also like having fresh herbs, but hate for them to go to waste so drying them just seams the right thing to do. Someday I want a herb garden out side my kitchen door.

Mae, I don't know what I had hung to dry this winter when you were here... I can only guess it was mint since that is the only thing I think I had that kept growing during the cold weather. I don't know if it was under the right label or not. I do tend to be a bit OCD about those things, but then I was using masking tape to hold the strings and it is possible that the tape lost its stick and I just slapped it under another one. That is why I made this board with the hooks. So to answer your question.... I have no idea.

Juls, Thanks! And thanks for your help brainstorming ideas for the title.
