Bucket List #12 Catch a New Kind of Fish

We had great fishing yesterday at Mosquito Lake. This little lake is located in the Indian Heaven Wilderness which part of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. We had the whole lake to ourselves and each (Dad, J, and I) caught between 10 and 15 fish apiece. We were mostly catching Eastern Brook trout. They are a new one for me, and the prettiest fish I have ever caught.

We encountered another new kind of fish yesterday. J and Dad each caught a Tiger trout. We did a little research have learned that they are a sterile hybrid of a Brook trout and a Brown trout.

We mostly caught the Eastern Brook trout. They are very fun, and fight as hard as any Cutthroat, or other trout, that I have caught. We had the whole lake to ourselves the entire day, and the setting and weather could not have been better. It was a great fishing day, and fun that I can add it to my Bucket List.
