For my last bucket list item we went to the movies last week. I realized that I had never gone to the movies and got popcorn, candy and a drink. Knowing the reason was that it was just ridiculously expensive, I was still shocked when my box of Jr. Mints, and small popcorn rang up at $10. For Christmas R&J gave us Fandango tickets, and I had a coupon for a free drink, so I managed to still be able to enjoy the movie despite the inflated prices. We saw Mission Imposable 4, and I think it was actually better than the last one, but I am not sure my opinion wasn't affected by the fact I was hyped up on an abnormal amount of sugar and fat. Even if I could afford the full package, I am not sure I would want to do it again. I am sure our shared small popcorn had at least one entire stick of butter on it, to my best estimations equaling a minimum of 800 calories. I still have not got the baseball sized butter stain out of my jeans where the corner of the popcorn bag touched and wicked the grease. The whole thing just seamed like overkill. I now know I haven't been missing out on anything, and in the future plan to continue to revel in the smuggling of my cheap candy and drinks, even if I have to wear my thick coat in the summer to do it.

So funny! I don't think I've ever done that either. Kurt and I get a bucket of popcorn and share a drink - once in a blue moon.
