Scar and Notch Reunited

I now know why Scar (i.e. Senor Diablo, the squirrel I relocated day before yesterday) had been so noisy. One of the reasons he had to go was his barking. Yes, BARKING. I think I understand why he was barking....
Meet Notch

Notch, meet trap....

Notch stealing peanuts/bait and running away....

Notch back for more (it never pays to be greedy!)....

Notch in the back of the car, me praying she doesn't get out while I am driving!.....

Notch, welcome to your new home....

Notch probably cussing me out. Just look at those evil eyes!
The names? Scar had a 1 in X 4 in scar on both his flanks, the reason I knew it was the same one hanging around. Notch has a chunk out of her ear. I am guessing Notch is a girl because she is fatter and uglier than Scar was. I have to say, if they weren't so small I might rethink relocating this form of food storage.

It seems so exciting to have small furry animals living in your yard! I hope they enjoy their new home. I'm enjoying your new font, much easier to read!

So, are you going to tell the continuing saga of the Squirrel Relocation Program? Like Notch having a homing instinct? - Mom
